How to measure deformable workpiece by video measuring machine?


There are two important steps for the measurement of the workpiece, that is, the selection of measuring instruments and the application of measuring methods. In the measurement of workpieces, the most difficult part to measure is not easy to deform, especially the measurement of precision parts after micro machining, which has always been a problem. Optical measurement system has the advantages of fast measurement speed and no deformation of parts, but it also has some limitations. For example, the visible edge of the workpiece can not reflect the situation of the occluded part behind, and the optical measurement system usually can not determine the position accuracy of three-dimensional shape such as parallelism, perpendicularity, cylindricity, flatness, etc.


However, composite imager supports composite sensing system: optical sensor, trigger probe and scanning probe (lsp-x1), TTL laser and innovative white light sensor. The composite image measuring instrument can measure all the key parameters of complex parts in one installation.

1、 Optical sensor

There is no need to contact those precise measured features to avoid the deformation caused by mechanical contact.

2、 Contact trigger sensor

The probe replacement rack is provided, which can replace the probe according to different measurement characteristics without correction. For the three position features of sphere, vertebral body and cylinder and all the elements that can not be identified by optical measurement, it is appropriate to use contact sensor. The workpiece only needs to be clamped once, the upper surface is measured by optical sensor, and the side or lower surface features are measured by contact method. The contact type sensor is equipped with an automatic rotating measuring base.

3、 White light sensor (CWS)

The white light sensor used in optiv composite image measuring instrument is a very high resolution measurement sensor, which can realize the measurement in the micron range, solve the measurement problem of workpiece surface reflection, obtain the shape of microstructure, realize the digitization of reflective surface (such as glass, polished metal), and realize the digitization of transparent materials.

Trigger scanning probe lsp-x1 can not only carry out standard single point trigger measurement, but also alert high-precision continuous scanning, realize high-speed, high-precision measurement of size and shape, self centering and other measurements. And it can measure the position that can not be reached by the non-contact detection device, such as the deep step hole.
